REVIEW: Anastasia of Beverly Hills Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat

 

I recently was given the opportunity to review Anastasia of Beverly Hills Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat. Now, Ill be honest. I am so biased to my mascaras and top coats for that matter. I love my The Falsies! But I realized, its not waterproof. So this came at a PERFECT time!!  

Lets get down to business!

WHAT IS IT?

Lash Genius is a clear topcoat which instantly waterproofs, refreshes, & protects ANY mascara all day, without drying or clumping. 

WHAT IT'S SUPPOSE TO DO:

According to Sephora , "This advanced, lightweight formula glides on smooth, dries quickly, and gives your lashes a touchable, soft lacquer finish that lasts all day." 

 THE WAND:

 

I will be honest, the wand didn't "move" me...Something about it seemed flimsy and I wasn't "wowed" by it. 

Putting it to the test!

I broke it down: Left side has Lash Genius and the right side is just my The Falsies without lash genius!

I also broke it up into three sections:

1. 6:00 am- Was applied right in the morning. As you can see it was PERFECT! No black smearing.

2. 4 pm- I worked out and as you can see my right side has SOME black smearing.

3. 9pm- Time to wash my face and look what side stayed! The lash genius!!! As where my "bare eye" ran like a river! Not sexy by the way!

OVERALL:

I love this topcoat. Worked as it said it would. It didn't dry out, clump or make my mascara (which was not waterproof) run.
