Review: If you haven't check out 17Sundays by now, you sure are missing out. The clothes are form fitting but yet oh so light! Not to mention, FASHIONABLE! The perfect clothes to either dress up or dress down with! Being in the hot weather too, the clothes were very ventilated.

Weight Watchers Weekly Weigh-In: 1/2 pound LOST

 

1/2 pound, not bad since I was emotional all week. Damn you PMS and stress! Work is INSANE!! And my second job started and I am looking forward to running around campus once again, EXERCISE! YAY! 1/2 A POUND....In the words of my friend Steph, still a loss! I am 1 1/2 pounds away from 50 pounds! So my goal this week is just THAT! I can do it! I know I can! 

HIGH OF THE WEEK

I said "No" to the extra stuff like Panera Bread, that the boss usually brings in. I also was VERY cautious about what I drank. I was so craving soda, but I opted for an unsweetened tea and right now at Jack In The Box, a Large is $1! Cant beat that! I love me some unsweetened tea!

Oh and I also went on a Hike! I got me some fitness in over the weekend! YAY!

 

LOW OF THE WEEK

They celebrated my birthday at work. Late, I know, but it was so nice! They got Costco pizza and cake!! Costco pizza was 18 pp each! I had TWO! I also had a slice of cake, small but ughh....I had to bring the cake home too. Its company policy/rule. Not a good look. Lol. Thank God THATS over!

WHAT I LEARNED

I learned that loving myself is WAY more important than anything in this world. If I cant love myself, I cant love anyone else. I started a "Back to basics" and even though its only a 1/2 pound loss, I am STILL proud of myself! And loving myself was HUGE this week!

TIP OF THE WEEK!

So, it is HOT still here in L.A and I wanted a slurpee. Well 7-11 came out with their Cherry Limeaide Lite slurpee! TOO DIE FOR! 

0 Points plus for 8 Ounces.

A medium slurpee is 3 pp! NOT BAD!!! Its yummy too!!!

REVIEW: NYC Liquid Lip Shine (Latina VoxBox)

 

This came in the Influenster box, NYC Liquid Lip Shine. It came in "
Nude York City" Which from the title you can see, its a nude. I actually love this as a over-gloss. If that makes sense.

 

Shows up shimmery with a hint of nude color on my hand however on my lips, was a whole other story.

This is "Nude York City" without any other lipstick on...just gloss as you can see. But No hint of color.

This is the gloss WITH my L'Oreal "Fairest Nude"

LOVED! LOVED! LOVED! Its with my Fairest Nude...and this is how I am using it.

OVERALL:

Personally, this color was TOO light for me to use alone. It suited me better with another Nude lipstick.

SATURDAY'S WITH STEF: My Hour-Glass Figure with a Few Extra Minutes

 

A lot is going through my mind, so bare with me on this beautiful Saturday.

As I told you last "Saturday with Stef", dating is gonna be put on a back burner for now. The drama with the last guy really sparked a fire under my bum. Not because things went bad, but because another woman was involved who stooped VERY low to make me bow out gracefully. It didn't take much for me to bow out gracefully, I wasn't gonna be an option nor second place to a man who is lost in the world.

I started off this week, so "BACK TO BASICS." When I started it off with a clear mind, but as the week progressed, something in my soul didn't feel right. Looking in the mirror I didn't feel THAT pretty. I felt the need to shut the world out, instead of just men. I wanted to be alone and just around my mom and brother. Maybe because I know they take me for who I am, regardless if I am fat or not. 

Then my friend Elaine sent something to me

 

My little heart felt as if there was a weight lifted.

So many people have this misconception that dating is easier and any "Fat girl problems" disappear. They don't. I still come across the same douchebags like the last guy who try to play a game, I still have girls who will stoop low to bring me down and have many people who doubt me. My weight loss isn't about boys, smaller clothes or having society tell me that being overweight isn't healthy. Its about accepting me for me and never settling less than first place. Its about SELF-LOVE, SELF-WORTH & my own VALUE!

I never will be rail thin or toothpick skinny, with these curves, it ain't gonna happen. However, I have accepted that my hour glass figure has a few extra minutes.

Cheers for not being the woman who settles for a man who makes her an option!
